Description:
The original Yongle Jian is now collected in the UK Royal ordnance Museum.
It was a gift to the tibet monk by the yong le emperor in the 1420.
Now what you see is the new one we are making.
The blade is made from hand forged damascus steel that has been hand folded at least 8 times with 8000 layers so the blade is hard and nice suitable for combating and cutting purpose.
The blade has live sharp 8-sided edges, if you want it blunt, leave us a message.
The handle and scababrd are made out of Indonisia Ebony attached with the solid brass with the technology of hollow carving that is very complicated and much time and energy spent in doing this step by step.
We made the carving from a whole piece of brass not pieces of brass gilded together!
The design of guard is a lion origin in the budda culture of tibet.
